This is honestly the most amazing, decadent, gorgeous guacamole I’ve ever tasted. The not-so-secret pineapple ingredient makes it lighter than traditional guacamole, and gives it a sort of zesty zingyness. I could eat this. ALL. DAY. LONG. (and I did).
If regular guac was lucky enough to score with pineapple salsa, and they had a love child, and then that love child grew up to become a pimp, that is what THIS guacamole would be: The pimped up love child of those two tasty mofos, after a random, drunken one night stand.
This guacamole is gorgeous and it knows it. It’s used to getting its way. The (pine)apple didn’t fall far from the tree, because it is quick and easy, just like its mother. It takes next to no time to prepare. You pretty much just let some chunky avocados grind up against some chopped pineapple in a bowl, add spice, and BOOM! Taste explosion!
It’s fresh, fruity, and slighty addictive. I devoured the entire bowl by myself and then felt a bit sick, because after all, it makes enough for 4-6 people. And I am just one person. One person with no will power. Especially when it comes to amazing snackage. And like I said, this guac is used to getting its way.
But what can I say? It’s guilt-free pleasure because it’s the good fat.
After all, avocados are nature’s butter, bitch.
dunno. i’m todas tradicional
